About me: The life you live is the lesson you teach!!! "Rainbow-Yoga" stands for a contemporary, science-oriented, tradition-bounded, open and health-oriented approach of yoga and thus for myself. My goal is to make yoga accessible to all those people who still are afraid of contact. I overcome the concerns of not being flexible enough for yoga by creating body awareness, body understanding and building trust in your own body. Health restrictions are no reason to practice yoga. I have been practicing yoga since 2006. In the meantime, yoga has become an important part of my everyday life and enriches every day of my life. I experience every day how positive this holistic form of movement, philosophy of life and yoga psychology can be, especially when we have physical and health limitations and are under great mental stress. The more I get involved with yoga and the deeper I dive into this philosophy of life, the more fascinated I am by the effects that yoga has and by the positive changes that become possible through yoga. My teaching is as colorful as the rainbow: my personal mixture of Intensive Yoga/Ashtanga Yoga, Hatha- Yoga, Svastha-Yoga, Physio-Yoga, rehabilitation, prevention and the yoga-therapeutic trainings over several years, where traditional wisdom meets the latest scientific wisdom. Integrating all 8 yoga paths according to Patanjali, the physical, energetic, mental, emotional and spiritual levels are addressed and all areas of life are included. My teaching is now influenced by my (still ongoing) training with my great Indian teachers Dr. Ganesh Mohan, A.G. Mohan and Indra Mohan, who still pass on the teachings of T. Krishnamacharya from their own experience to us students worldwide and combine them with the latest scientific findings. Since 2020 I am studying daily with these teachers full of gratitude. Her teachings correspond with my personal attitude that yoga must always be adapted to each individual and their individual needs. There is no yoga sequence that works the same for everyone. What you learn in my yoga classes is always easy to follow, practice and practice at home, so that yoga can also become a part of your everyday life. Because only then it slowly becomes more and more really yoga. My yoga is as colorful as my participants, whom I teach in groups with a limited number of participants, or the students with whom I work individually in private lessons. This results in a rainbow-colored, healthy yoga course program combined with Svasthayoga therapy offers, which reflect my broad knowledge. The goal of yoga practice is always to bring my students into balance, to reduce everyday stress, to calm the sympathetic nervous system and to be more and more at peace - so that at some point the calmness of the mind, the stillness of the thoughts, becomes possible to experience. Of course, humor and the joy of doing should also always play a role... Only in our body can we enjoy our life in this world. If the body is the house of our soul, then we have to build a strong foundation for this house!!! And if the foundation is right, we can feel more and more our inner peace in us and peace in our heart. "Yoga citta vritti nirodha" (Yogasutras according to Patanjali) Yoga is the quietening of thoughts in the mind. Here and now
